Forza Horizon 4 Winter Seasons Change Everything Stream

July 25, 2018

Playground Games is back again for perhaps the most interesting of the four weekly instalments of the Seasons Change Everything streams for the Forza Horizon 4 Winter season.

Last week, Playground Games covered the Autumn season which you can check out here, and previously Summer was covered here. The weekly instalments have just one stream remaining, with Spring yet to come.

Today’s stream shows off the ravaged icey world that is Great Britain in winter. Frozen waterways, deep off-road snow and slippery roads makes up for what will be a slightly more difficult season. Playground Games says they don’t want a sharp difficulty increase during the Forza Horizon 4 Winter season, and contingencies have been put in place to make sure that it isn’t a lot harder, but realistically players should expect to be more cautious on the winter roads.

Car mastery has also been revealed, where now players can work towards unlocking perks for individual cars. Vehicles will fall under a certain category which will determine what perks are available to unlock, and there are some exciting new perks for the franchise that will certainly shake up gameplay.

Forzathon points will now be a more important currency, allowing you to unlock items that appear in wheelspins. Forzathon was demonstrated last week, with hourly, daily and weekly challenges offering racers more reasons to keep coming back to Forza Horizon 4 every week, or season.

The user interface is also touched on, as well as hints for where you might be able to find the many bonus boards scattered around the map. Speaking of the Forza Horizon 4 map, it was once again shown off this week, and will also be a seasonal picture, this week showing the sweeping snowy plains and forests across Great Britain.
